New Horizons in the Non-Op Care of Children and Adults with Scoliosis: Expanding the Use of Bracing and PSSE

This joint SRS/SoSORT webinar explores the possibility of expanding indications or utilization of bracing and physical therapy in patients beyond the traditional standards currently in use. Specifically, bracing in adolescents with small curves less than 25 degrees or with big curves over 45 degrees as well as the use of patient specific scoliosis exercise or PSSE in these patients. The Webinar will also review the possible indications for PSSE and bracing in adults with scoliosis. Ultimately, the presenters will discuss new possibilities and indeed new potential indications for the use of non-operative treatment for patients with scoliosis.

This webinar is of interest to all physicians caring for scoliosis, physical therapists treating scoliosis patients, and orthotists providing scoliosis braces, as well as families and scoliosis patients themselves.
