Webinar and Global Outreach Committee Chair: J. Michael Wattenbarger, MD
The SRS Global Outreach Committee serves as a networking community to exchange ideas and strategies related to independent outreach efforts as well as to develop and disseminate educational aids on effective outreach. The webinar, Spinal Global Outreach: 101 to Advanced Degree, will be interactive and case based with tips on how to get started in global outreach and how to create long standing outreach programs. We encourage both veterans of outreach programs, as well as those that have never gone on a trip but have an interest in participating on a trip in the future, to participate in the webinar.
Learning Objectives:
- Create strategies for building new outreach efforts with attention to quality and safety.
- Analyze local resources to determine appropriate treatment plans for spinal deformity.
- Incorporate the SRS Core Curriculum to onsite educational strategic plans.
